XV de Gaule Tournament

One of Attica Springboks’ traditions each year is to organize the annual XV de Gaule tournament.  The objective of this annual tournament is to promote and develop the rugby practice by young Greeks, and to consolidate and increase the use of the French language, the strong common values specific to this sport: fraternity, respect of others, tactical intelligence, decision making or relish for effort. Founded in 2007 and after 15 successful editions, the XV de Gaule Tournament will take place this year on the 28th May 2022 This tournament aims to promote rugby and confers to this sport a festive and warm character following the welcoming tradition of the rugby clubs. So, to remain faithful to the rugby games atmosphere, the contribution of many teams, the support of our Partners, the enthusiasm of young and older players, the conviviality and the volunteer support of our fans will enjoy a full day event on the pitch and the stalls for catering, bar, raffle, club’s merchandise shop. Approximately 70 children and 80 adult players participate in this event, encouraged by over 300 spectators. Our Partners from local and international companies, the local diplomatic community and friends. de Gaul XV is a well established event. As always,  we hope that the weather will be splendid, the teams happy to be there, all this contributes to the success of this tournament, one of the most important Athenian events of the year.
